Isn’t it funny how a holiday off from work, works?
We all look forward to the extra time off, then when we return to work we can’t seem to remember what day it really is for the rest of the week.
For Memorial Day of course we had a Monday off, so Tuesday became our new Monday.
Our trash man normally picks up on Tuesday, but that is the new Monday. Does that mean that he will pick up on Wednesday and not the New Monday?
Oh well I’m confused and looking forward to the weekend being over so Monday will really be Monday.
I can’t wait for the next holiday off.

A Season and Time of Thanksgiving
This is that special time of the year for each of us to stop and think of all we have to
be thankful for. How about you, will you motor on over to Granny’s place or will you
be the host this year?
When the main meal is over will there be enough food left over to feed another
couple families? What’s your favorite, Pumpkin Pie or Sweet Potato Pie?
My favorite is with whipped Cream.
My real favorite of all is “Peaceful.” The world seems to have forgotten what that
term “Peaceful” means, whether it is down the street, in the city, or half way
around the world. I urge you to put a smile of contentment, peace, and happiness
on your face for where ever you may go.
Greet those you encounter in such a way that when they walk away they will feel
better about themselves and about you. Make it a point to make this next month
a season of Joy and Peace at least in your family and in your world.
Until next time.

Gorgeous weather we are having in St. Louis, almost spring like. But the leaves, man do we ever have leaves.
It would seem that this year we are going directly from fall, to Black Friday and then right into Christmas.
Did I miss Thanksgiving? How about you, do you do any cooking for Thanksgiving? How big are your dinners?
Do you go Black Friday Shopping? If so, what kind of stores do you visit and what kind of things are you looking for? Big or Little?
Personally I appreciate each holiday and season as it comes. Are you one who makes New Year’s Resolutions?
As fast as time is flying by, maybe you should think about planning a little earlier this year.
Your New Year Resolutions? If so, are you successful with yours?
Until next time

Veteran’s Day, 2015
Today is Veteran’s Day, the day set aside by the U.S. Congress as a National Holiday to honor those veteran’s who have served in the U.S. Military. It actually began as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I.
Speaking for myself, of all the things I am most proud of in my life is that I served, I didn’t realize at the time that I was doing anything special, just being assigned to a helicopter squadron onboard the U.S.S Essex, making airplanes fly.
If you find yourself in Kansas City, there is a World War 1 National Monument well worth your time to go visit.
It is there you will learn about the Poppie flower in Flanders Flanders Field. (National Cemetery)
In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.

A team of Real Estate professionals
Well if you haven’t noticed, the cyclical Real Estate market has cycled again in St. Louis.
This year we’ve experienced a strong buyers market, sellers market and right now we are again all about a strong buyer’s market. This makes for a great opportunity if you are a buyer, as there is a significant inventory of homes for sale that probably are not being seen and the sellers are very motivated just waiting for you to come see and to make an offer.
My word to the wise is for you to visit my website and click on the buyers tab. There you will find links that will lead you to your successful home purchase.
As an example, helping you:
Select a lender, getting pre-approved, and what it is all about.

For me Labor Day holiday represents the beginning of Fall, my favorite season of the year.
The air begins to get a little crisp, the leaves turn into their vibrant colors and fall to the ground.
Every year my family has an annual reunion over this weekend. From my parents humble beginnings and my seven siblings, there are now 94 of us descendants, including one in the womb. We as a family are so very blessed and blessed to live in America.
One additional blessing we all share is home ownership. As a Realtor each year, the fourth quarter proves to be my most productive quarter of the year. Surprising? Yeah, kinda.
If you had intended to make a move this year, but haven’t so far, it is certainly not to late.
Check out my website at www.GivePaulACall.com Let’s get started and make it happen yet this year.
